Silent Storm Elite Corp ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Field Service Control Tower platform ("Platform," "Service"), a cloud-based field service management solution accessible at ssecontroltower.com and related subdomains. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and role when you create an account or organization.
Work Order Data: Service addresses, equipment details, scheduling information, completion reports, photos, and notes submitted through the Platform.
Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.
Communications: Messages, support requests, and feedback you send to us.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns.
Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and IP address.
Location Data: Approximate location derived from IP address. Precise GPS location only with your explicit consent (for technician check-in/check-out features).
Cookies and Tracking: Session cookies for authentication. Analytics cookies with your consent. See Section 8 for details.
Integration Data: If your organization connects third-party services (e.g., Monday.com, QuickBooks), we receive data necessary to provide the integration functionality.
Authentication Providers: If you sign in via OAuth, we receive your name and email from the identity provider.
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Platform; process work orders, scheduling, and dispatch operations; authenticate users and manage access controls; process payments and manage subscriptions; send transactional notifications (work order updates, SLA alerts, dispatch emails); provide customer support; generate anonymized analytics and usage reports for your organization; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
Within Your Organization: Other members of your organization can see data relevant to their role (e.g., dispatchers see technician schedules).
Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion: personal data is deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request; anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes; backup copies are purged within 90 days; and data required for legal compliance may be retained as required by law.
You have the right to: access and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal data; request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements); request your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON/CSV); and withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act: the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected; the right to delete personal information; the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information, so no opt-out is necessary); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EEA, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. We process your data based on: (a) contract performance, (b) legitimate interests, (c) consent, or (d) legal obligation. You have the right to restrict processing in certain circumstances, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data may be transferred to the United States; we use standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards.
We implement industry-standard security measures including: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest; role-based access controls with principle of least privilege; multi-tenant data isolation at the database level; regular security assessments and dependency audits; bcrypt password hashing with appropriate work factors; rate limiting and brute-force protection; and comprehensive audit logging.
